Legazpi City – Tricycle terminals across the city have received new tents, thanks to the combined efforts of Albay 2nd District Congressman Joey Salceda and Legazpi City Mayor Alfredo Garbin.

The tents provide much-needed shelter for tricycle drivers and passengers, protecting them from the scorching sun and rain. TODA officers expressed their gratitude to Congressman Salceda for donating the tents and to Mayor Garbin for allowing their installation at almost all tricycle terminals in the city.

“This is a great help to us, especially during extreme weather conditions,” said TODA officer Joseph San Juan Armogila, who also noted that this marks a positive shift from last year’s incident when the City Engineering Office dismantled similar tents during a clearing operation.

The initiative has been widely appreciated by tricycle operators and passengers alike, as it significantly improves conditions at the city’s tricycle terminals.
