Residents of Legazpi City are abuzz with excitement as the city embarks on an unprecedented Christmas gift-giving program, distributing Rice and Ham packages to 67,000 families.

This initiative, spearheaded by newly elected Mayor Alfredo Garbin, marks a departure from previous years when only barangay officials and senior citizens were the primary beneficiaries of holiday distributions. Mayor Garbin emphasized his commitment to ensuring that no family is left behind this Christmas season.

Legazpi City Liga ng Barangay President Hisham Ismail personally witnessed the distribution in several barangays that have already received their allocations.

Meanwhile, other barangays are encouraged to remain patient, as their turn will come soon with the ongoing release of allocations.
