Albay 3rd District Representative Didi Cabredo has spearheaded a successful Food-for-Work program in Barangay Zone 7, Libon, Albay, demonstrating the power of community-driven initiatives. This project, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), enabled residents to actively participate in community-cleaning activities in exchange for food assistance, fostering both environmental improvement and social welfare.

The program was carried out with the dedicated efforts of the Guardians Brothers from PGBI-ALAB Del Rosario Chapter, who, alongside local residents, worked tirelessly to clean and beautify the barangay. Their collective efforts have left a lasting positive impact on the community.

Cong. Cabredo expressed his gratitude to Vice Mayor Mac Sayson and former Barangay Councilor Ryan Aguilar, whose unwavering support and supervision ensured the smooth execution of the initiative. The program highlights Cabredo’s commitment to sustainable development through grassroots engagement and collaboration.

This effort underscores the importance of partnerships among leaders, organizations, and communities in driving meaningful change and improving the quality of life for local residents.
