Polangui, Albay – The Lourdes WP SLP Association has successfully launched its Goat Production Business in Brgy. Lourdes, Polangui, Albay, marking a significant milestone in the community’s pursuit of sustainable livelihood opportunities.
With a Php 105,000 grant from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), this initiative aims to empower local women farmers, providing them with an additional source of income and financial stability.
Third District Representative Cong. Didi Cabredo envisions this project as a means to uplift rural women by fostering economic independence through agricultural enterprises.
The Goat Production Business is expected to generate sustainable income for its beneficiaries while contributing to the local economy of Polangui. The initiative is part of the broader effort to create progressive and self-sufficient communities in the Third District of Albay.
