KITO AND DIDAY CO DISTRIBUTE GROCERY AID TO OVER 9,400 FAMILIES IN SOUTHERN LEGAZPI

Legazpi City, Albay – Congressional candidate Kito Co and gubernatorial candidate Diday Co, under Team APG led by Legazpi Mayoralty candidate Hisham Ismail and Global Albay of Congressman Joey Salceda, led the distribution of grocery aid to a total of 9,448 families across nine barangays in Southern Legazpi on January 12, 2025.

The large-scale relief operation aimed to provide support to families in vulnerable communities, reaffirming the Co duo’s commitment to their advocacy of lifting everyone through their programs. The initiative was warmly received by residents who lauded the candidates’ dedication to addressing their needs.

The barangays that benefited from the aid distribution include:

  1. Brgy. 69 Buenavista – 455 families
  2. Brgy. 68 San Francisco – 791 families
  3. Brgy. 70 Cagbacong – 780 families
  4. Brgy. 67 Bariis – 687 families
  5. Brgy. 66 Banquerohan – 2,800 families
  6. Brgy. 65 Imalnod – 850 families
  7. Brgy. 64 Bagacay – 650 families
  8. Brgy. 62 Homapon – 1,845 families
  9. Brgy. 63 Mariawa – 590 families

Vice Governor candidate Diday Co emphasized the importance of unity in their campaign, reiterating their slogan, “Angat Ang Lahat” (Lifting Everyone). “This initiative shows our commitment to bringing aid directly to our communities and ensuring no one is left behind,” she said.

Kito Co, on his part, thanked the residents for their warm reception and trust in their team. “This is just the beginning of more programs to uplift the lives of Albayanos. Together, we can achieve a brighter and more inclusive future for our province,” he added.

The residents, overwhelmed by the generosity of Team APG, expressed their gratitude for the timely assistance. “Dakulon baga ini-o!” many exclaimed, recognizing the significant impact of the relief operation.
