Legazpi City Bags P2M Incentive for Seal of Local Governance; Mayor Alfredo Garbin Receives the Award

Legazpi City has been awarded a P2 million incentive after being honored with the prestigious Seal of Local Governance (SLG) by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). This recognition acknowledges the city’s outstanding performance in areas such as health, education, peace and order, and social welfare.

The award was personally received by Legazpi Mayor Alfredo Garbin, Jr., who expressed pride in the city’s achievements. Under his leadership, the local government has focused on improving public services, fostering transparency, and implementing programs that enhance the quality of life for residents.

The P2 million incentive will be used to further bolster Legazpi’s community-driven initiatives and local development programs. Mayor Garbin thanked the residents and local government staff for their collective efforts in achieving this honor and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the city’s growth and development .
